Trustees
Our Articles make provision for nine Trustees to be appointed by the Members. Further Trustees may be co-opted to ensure that the Board continues to have the breadth and depth of experience and expertise to expertly fulfil all the functions of governance (see details on Our Members and Trustees page).
Academy Governing Boards (AGBs)
The Trust’s local governing bodies are called Academy Governing Boards (AGBs). Their role is to steer, challenge and support the leadership and contribute to the success of their academy and to recommend and contribute to the work of the Trust benefiting all academies across the Trust.
